Employee Screening

Staffing Inc. is committed to providing our clients with the most updated and sophisticated ways to pre-screen candidates seeking employment. All incoming employee are screened through:

Our Process covers:

Initial Screen

All Staffing Inc. employees must have at least 6 months of relevant industry experience in the past 12 months. In our offices, this is the first qualifying question that all of our Human Resource Consultants ask. If a person doesn't have the required skills for a particular job, then they are evaluated for other positions that may best fit their background.

Structured Interview

Each of our candidates is screened in a way that usually brings out the true character side of them. We structure our questionnaire to bring out the "best" and "worst" about the candidate. We can develop an interview that meets your expectations based on your greatest challenges on the floor.

Skills Testing

We have a wide variety of testing for both visual and technical aptitudes. These tests can be developed to meet your specific needs. For example, a job requires some mathematical competency. We can develop a test that meets these specific expectations. We are in the process of pre-testing all hired candidates in the Workkeys competency structure. This will allow us to make better matches based on industry aptitude and competency.

Background Checks

We offer multiple products an extensive background. We are itemizing the costs of these screens. You have the option of adding these costs to the overall mark-up percentage. You will be charged for these verifications after they are performed. You will only be charged for those employees that start work at your facility. Any failed test, Staffing Inc. picks up the cost.

Drug Screens

We perform 5 panel drug screens directly in our field offices. Results are given within less than 3 minutes. For all injuries, employees are screened immediately at the selected medical facility. In the event an employee suffers from a work related injury, the employee will be immediately sent to a local med-station and tested for the presence of drugs or alcohol within their system.

Employee Training

Currently, we train all of our associates on workplace safety, preparedness and professionalism, sexual harassment, and blood borne pathogens. We can provide our employees with safety glasses, ear plugs and steel toe boots.

The most effective way for us to manage and prevent injuries is to have immediate floor access. We can identify potential safety issues quickly and deal with them immediately. We prefer to become part of the culture, not just a recipient of the news. Safety, adherence to work instructions, and employee loyalty are all tied to our onsite presence.

Quality Control

We evaluate our employees on a daily basis. Ground level management is the best way to maintain the highest quality results. We provide evaluations to employees as well as their supervisors. We solicit this information to determine whether an employee is doing their assigned job.

Here are some of the metrics that we use to measure our organization and executive staff’s performance:

Turnover Ratio

Number of employees working versus those that have been terminated. The lower the turnover, the better the performance!

Duration Ratio

The average length of time an associate stays on one job.

Recruit Ratio

How often are we hiring candidates? If we are hiring many employees, do we have the work available?

Fill Ratio

Have we met our daily order deadlines?

Our staff’s monthly bonuses are tied directly to their individual office performances. If we do not perform for you, we don’t reward ourselves.
